Apartments –the multifunctional complex «NOAH’S ARK»

 

 

1) The International Business Centre with an InterContinental Hotel Complex and High qualified Apartments is a multifunctional complex, which is situated in one building. It is realized in a form of the ark. It is placed above a huge wave and is being taken to mountain Ararat.

2) Noah’s Ark is a symbol of  revival, as a model of the world.

3) The Ark has the very proportions as it is described in the Old Precept: the ark is 300 cubits long, 50 cubits wide, 30 cubits high and it has 3 decks. We have taken conditional sizes. An Egyptian imperial cubit is 52cm long and we got the basic sizes of the ark: length 157m, width 26m, height 15,6 m.

4) The International Business Centre with InterContinental Hotel Complex and High qualified apartments is in one building. It has separate entrances with its elevators and staircases and its “vital’’ ways aren’t intersected. Atrium separates the block of hotel rooms and apartments from the block of office rooms in business centre. Exception with the block of the ark where meeting and event room capacities, Health and fitness centre capacities, restaurants, pubs and cafés are installed and the “vital” ways can be intersected.

5) Hanging gardens are installed on butt ends of atrium of the building in height of 3 floors. It is for office employees in business centre and inhabitants. Hanging gardens will also keep good microclimate in the building. The ground floor occupies separate entrances for Hotel Complex with panoramic lifts, business centre with high qualified apartments, present shops and souvenirs, exhibiting halls and galleries, café and salon-shop Mercedes.

6) The height of the building is 101m. The building is on the southern part of the area parallel to the longitudal axe of the mountain Ararat.

7) All high qualified rooms and apartments, panoramic cafés and restaurants, conference centre, fitness centre, gyms, outdoor and indoor swimming pools without exceptions in Hotel Complex look to mountain Ararat.

8) Rooms in Hotel Complex in number and types strictly correspond to the requirements of the competition: 225 rooms, common area is 10280sq.m and 75 apartments, common area is 7600sq.m.

9) Small amount of apartments of a high category, which are 6(the common area for one apartment is 428sq.m.), are caused by a desire not to lower comfort of the Complex, not to increase density of building and the rest of the space is left for park with green plantings, which are necessary not only to a high qualified Complex but also ecology of the city.

10) Multifunctional Complex has a protected entrance and exit to the area, parking for guests and tourist bus stop.

11) There is a four-storey underground garage for 246 cars occupying 11760 sq.m. area. This is for office employees in Business Centre, employees in Hotel Complex. Closed garages are only for 6 high qualified apartments for 18 cars and for 3 cars on each apartment occupying 370 sq.m. area.

12) The complex has tilted bridge for pedestrian with staircases or escalators which will connect the Complex with the city. Inhabitants can pass the bridge without any obstacles crossing 2 streets and can reach Abovyan street.
